This Nixie clock combines nostalgic Nixie tubes with innovative circuitry in a nobly stainless steel case. This clock might remind to some clocks made before but has almost nothing in common.
Its elaborate software and features, the good craftsmanship and the beautiful case make this clock a distinctive top-quality product. It's a handmade masterpiece in design and functionality.
DESIGN
It is a classic cubic and archetypal design, straight lines for a timeless elegance. The case is made of brushed stainless steel -a complimentary material for this unique Nixie clock. The shiny surface reflects the glow of the Nixie tubes.
TECHNIQUE
The CHRONOTRONIX V300-ZM1080 NIXIE CLOCK uses a state of the art circuitry. Time is kept by precise real time clock. It's accurate to within 0.0003s per minute.
Nixie tubes require a high voltage to operate. In the Nixie clocks there are different techniques used to generate this voltage. The CHRONOTRONIX V300-ZM1080 NIXIE CLOCK uses the most innovative power supply we are aware of. It is a highly efficient, super low noise switch mode power supply in a very small shape (inside the case of course). The clock is not multiplexed, but the Nixie tubes are driven directly.
TUBES
The tubes are the very beautiful ZM1080 made by Telefunken, Philips and Mullard. These tubes have a large digit size of 15.5mm (0.61”). The extraordinary look of the fine anode mesh made of wires
make up for a unique object in Nixie tube design.

CONFIGURATION / POWER SUPPLY
The CHRONOTRONIX V300-ZM1080 NIXIE CLOCK will work in ALL countries of the world. The clock works in a range from 110-240V. We currently offer the clock with standard EU and standard US power supply.
For all other countries here are some specs for the power supply needed. It is a very common power supply available at every corner store:

- Output Power: 0.5A (6Watts)
- Secondary Supply Plug: Outer Diameter: 5.5 mm; Inner Diameter 2.5mm.
